Eastern region governor will attend the annual ceremony for businessmen that will be held in the chamber on Tuesday, November 17.
Al-Otaishan: this ceremony reflects the growing role of the business sector.
 
Asharqia Chamber of Commerce continues to prepare for its annual reception that will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2015. His crown prince Saud bin Nayef will sponsor and attend the ceremony, which will be held in the biggest ceremonies hall in Dammam Sheraton hotel.
 
According to Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Otaishan, the goal of this ceremony is to strengthen the relations between all of its members and between the business sector and the private sector and all the society's sections.  He asserted on the importance of this ceremony because it is considered an opportunity for a proper communication between businessmen of all industries and governmental officials as well as officials in the private sector. He urged the business sector as well as all the chambers partners in the governmental and private entities and the media representatives to attend this ceremony and utilize this congregation to enforce positive communication that will serve to improve the Saudi economy.

Al-Otaishan asserted that the crown prince's yearly attendance has left a mark, and it reflects his efforts to support the business sector. He pointed out that Princess Abeer bint Faisal, the crown prince's spouse would attend the yearly ceremony that the chamber holds for businesswomen on the following day, November 18, 2015. Holding this event reflects the chamber's support for the businesswomen in the region. Moreover, he mentioned that Princess Abeer is an avid supporter of the activities and events that are directed towards women, in general, and towards the eastern region women in particular. Moreover, he pointed to the growing efforts of the eastern region women in contributing to the Saudi economy.

He mentioned the ceremony this year would hold many achievements for the chamber especially regarding expanding the chamber's projects and services. Such expansion would certainly help facilitate the chamber's services and support the members all across the eastern region get the optimal benefit of all the chamber services.
 
For his part, Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Alwabel, Secretary-General of Asharqia Chamber said that the Chamber has been actively working to make this reception a success, and mentioned that this year's ceremony is the compiled efforts of a dedicated team and the support of all the members and businessmen in the region. He stated that the preparations for this ceremony started a long time ago, considering the importance of this event. Moreover, he said that this meeting is a yearly event that businessmen of the region look forward to attending, and it reflects the growing role of the private sector in the national development.
