Eastern Chamber launches sixth edition of Al-Gosaibi Award for Best Promising establishment
 
  Eastern Chamber launched SME version (sixth) of the Competition for the best and promising establishment which is organized by the Chamber once every two years under the name of "Dr. Ghazi Al-Gosaibi Award for best promising establishment ".
Secretary General of the Chamber Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al wabel said that this event is one among the activities organized by the Small and Medium Establishment Development Chamber Center, to achieve a number of goals: the activation of the role of small and medium enterprises to support and motivate the national economy in general and the economy of the eastern region in particular.. and increase awareness among small and middle business owners and motivate them to provide the best levels and promote the concept of the initiative to the investor and the promotion of small and medium establishment creativity and innovation, and innovation and framing the concept of quality of small and medium establishment and encourage them to reach the highest levels in this part and the promotion of small and medium establishment to play a greater role in establishing the concept of Saudization in the region. "
He added that this award is given to fifteen promising establishment of five selected sectors (by three institute in each sector) which gets the owner of the establishment to get several privileges that are: "intensive promotion of the institute  through the media coverage of special award .. and acknowledgment and publicity for the name established in the press and advertising of the property in the Journal of the economy ,and showing the  Logo in the inside and outside of the room .. and exemption of subscription fees in the chamber for a year.
He pointed that the running for the award is according to several conditions that are: "the establishment matching to identity used by the chamber for each sector ... and the presence of  a  clear head office  and address of the property within the eastern region, and to be owned or managed by Saudi citizens, and should have been on the Start less than ten years of the project, in addition to the availability of commercial registration or license, with the subscribtion of the  chamber   and all must be current
The committee supervising the award has held its first meeting at the of the chamber in the head office, and discussed a number of topics of the award, which is one of the most prominent activities of the chamber activities to support small and medium establishment.
The Committee is made up of a group of experienced professionals in the field of small and medium establishment from inside and outside the chamber, from university professors and officials, and entrepreneurs, and among the functions of the committee is award plan preparation, and the choice of sectors and establishments competing, visiting them if needed and evaluating them, selection of winners, and doing all the special jury award operations.
