East Chamber organizing a workshop on ' desertification ' Wednesday morning
The Chamber is organizing Wednesday morning (4/9/2013 -28/10/1434) workshop on ' desertification, its impacts and disadvantages ' with the participation of experts and stakeholders in this area. During the workshop in the main center in Dammam, a number of specialized worksheets will be presented ' low water levels and pollution, poor agricultural soils and salinity, urban sprawl on agricultural areas, overgrazing and logging impact on vegetation, climate and human behaviors on the soil, the legislation on desertification, the efforts of international organizations in combating desertification . The workshop is within the activities of the environment Committee, in the East Chamber to tackle all manifestations hostile to a clean environment, and for the development of investments in environmentally friendly areas.
