Control over Unlicensed Security Companies
The expanded meeting for security services sector in the Eastern Province called for more control of component authorities over unlicensed companies that operate in the sector and lower the price of their offers to win security contracts.
The meeting, which was held Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at the headquarters of Chamber in Dammam, revealed that unlicensed companies have many problems with contractors as they bid with unrealistic prices in order to win tenders from companies requesting security services and then do not follow f the agreements, which negatively affects companies licensed by relevant government agencies.
