The head of the British
Arab Chamber of Commerce and the British head of the British Business Council,
Baroness Elizabeth Simmons, stressed the
keenness to enhance the partnership
between the two countries to improve the
economic sector of women in the region.
Simmons
said in a meeting with the executive vicar of the executive council for
Businesswomen and the Head of the Women Committee in Asharqia Chamber, Shuaa Al Duhailan, and attended by a number of
businesswomen and young businesswomen recently, and the depth of relations between the
two countries and the continuous cooperation in various fields.
And
periodic meetings with businesswomen to continuously review the most important
achievements and challenges and improve
mutual works and serve the women business sector, especially in the sector of
small and medium institutions according to the goals of the vision of the
Kingdom 2030.
For
her part, Al Duhailan stressed the keenness of the meeting to put forward ideas
and visions that makes it easy to reach a clear mechanism that serves the
business sector in the region and provides support for the development of
national cadres in many fields that targets women jobs and businesses.
The
meeting reviewed the most important achievements of Saudi women and the
developments in the investment and practical environment for women in the
Kingdom with the support of the rational government, the meeting also discussed the positive effects resulting from
government decisions that support the expansion of women work and the right to
work as an essential partner in
development in the Kingdom.
The
meeting discussed the possibility of cooperation in several specialties: logistics, education, training,
industry and medical care.
