The Chairman of Asharqia Chamber, Abdulhakeem bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, launched a program of qualification and training of security patrols in the region on Wednesday, 25 July 2018, in the presence of the Director General of Security Patrols in the region, the Brigadier Nayef bin Manawar Al-Otaibi.
Al-Khalidi said-during a welcoming speech-that the program comes in implementation of the memorandum of understanding that was signed recently between the Council of Saudi Chambers and the Directorate of Public Security represented by the General Directorate of Public Security patrols, on the contribution to the qualification and training of security patrol personnel in various regions to provide them with the basics of sign language to facilitate communication with people with special needs.
The chairman of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad al-Ammar al-Khalidi, emphasized that the program, which is held in cooperation with the General Directorate of security patrols in the eastern region, comes within the framework of cooperation and integration with government departments to qualify and train security personnel with the aim of imparting skills and abilities to deal with the public, in order to improve the services provided to all.
Al-Khalidi pointed out that the program would continue through, as specialists will provide technical details in the sign language. Therefore, they would learn how to deal with people with special needs in the field on the one hand, and to improve the level of security performance and develop the skills of security men in various fields on the other hand.
For his part, Brigadier General Al-Otaibi said that the program would contribute to upgrading the services provided by security patrol personnel to different categories of the public, especially with those who deal in sign language.
In fact, the public security is keen to deal with everyone that to raise the capacity and the qualification in order to know how to communicate with different segments of society, and contribute to raising the level of security services provided to people with special needs.
Al-Otaibi pointed out that the program comes within the framework of cooperation with Asharqia Chamber in order to benefit from the experience and expertise to implement the program with a high level of professionalism.
