On Wednesday, December 5, 2018 and under the patronage of the spouse of the prince of the Eastern Region, Her Highness Princess Abeer Bint Faisal Al Saud, Asharqia Chamber, represented at the Businesswomen's Center will host the annual reception for businesswomen at the Grand Ballroom of Sheraton Hotel, Dammam.
The Chairman of the Board of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Khalidi, said that the patronage and honor of Her Highness for Asharqia Chamber's annual Businesswomen reception, which reflects her keenness to strengthen and promote Saudi women in the business sector.
It also reflects Her keenness to communicate and share a social segment with economic dimensions that are capable of participation and giving.
Al-Khalidi stressed the importance of the ceremony of the year as represented by an annual forum to stimulate interaction and strengthen the links between the leaders of the private sector and various segments of society, as well as its direct contact with government officials and private sector officials in the Eastern Province, as well as the positive communication between the Chamber and its members, who have always proved their active presence in various economic activities.
He noted that the ceremony will witness the honoring of the two members of the Board of Directors from the previous session of the Board of Directors, Samira Al-Sawegh and Manial Al-Hamdan, as well as the Director of the Center for Businesswomen Hind Al-Zahid.
Al Khalidi said that this year's ceremony is the culmination of several achievements by the Chamber in serving the participants.
He pointed out that it is one of the most important activities that are organized by the Chamber as part of its continuous efforts to deepen the bonds and social relations between its members and representatives of government sectors.
In addition, he pointed out that this year's ceremony will witness the presence of many representatives of foreign embassies and a number of prominent academies and government officials in various sectors.
He is hoping that the ceremony will be a productive meeting for businesswomen to achieve further development of the business sector in the Kingdom.
Al Khalidi appreciated the overall performance of the business sector as a partner and supporter of the development of the national economy.
He stressed the large increase that achieved by the private sector in various capacities during the current year in terms of strength of performance and expansion both at the level of production base or increase the number of workers from the national forces.
