Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Hospitality and Leisure Committee, will host an expanded meeting of hospitality and entertainment sector participants in the Eastern Province on Thursday, August 9th, at the headquarters of the Chamber in Dammam at 10:30 am.
The meeting aims to exchange views on the most important topics related to the sector in the Eastern Region, as well as the most important difficulties and challenges facing the pioneers of the sector and ways to overcome them.
Mr. Hamad Bin Mohammed Al-Boali, Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Hospitality and Leisure Committee at Asharqia Chamber, stressed the importance of the meeting in identifying the challenges and difficulties faced by the hospitality and leisure leaders in the Eastern Province, and then put appropriate solutions to them and submit them to the competent authorities.
He pointed out that the sector plays an important role in advancing development, in creating more job opportunities among the national labor forces, and in stimulating economic activity in more than one field.
Al-Boali said that such meetings would contribute to the consolidation of the growing development paths of the hospitality and entertainment sector in the Eastern Province and push it towards further progress and prosperity.
He added that the meeting seeks to reach specific framework conclusions that will support the pioneers of the sector as well as those who invest in it and drive them to achieve a qualitative leap in performance. He said, "We are moving through one base in line with the vision of the Kingdom of 2030, as the sector is considered a major engine of growth in its strategy to diversify the economic base."
As part of its sectorial committees, Asharqia Chamber has introduced the hospitality and entertainment committee in its current board session in order to enhance the competitive performance of the sector and improve it in the local market.
