Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Jubail Business Council, organized a workshop that reviewed the services of the platform, the stages of registration in the forum, the electronic services provided to the business sector, and how to benefit from them.
The marketing director of the platform, Talal bin Mansour Al-Ruwaishid, defined the Qawia platform as the main digital platform for all the services of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development for the labor sector and the unified interface to organize and follow up all transactions between the various parties to the system, including employees and establishments in the private sector, in an automated and immediate manner, as the platform launches the labor market to cover horizons The establishment’s journey from establishment, growth, and expansion, and steps with the employee from the first job until retirement, in support of all the services and tools that add value to this journey.
Regarding the most essential electronic services, Al-Ruwaishid reviewed during the workshop, which was moderated by the Chairman of the Jubail Business Council, Saad bin Muhammad Al-Buainain, the Saudization certificate service, which is a certificate issued by the Ministry of Human Resources stating that the establishment has achieved the required localization rate according to the classification of the Nitaqat guide in force in the Ministry's system, and the service enables the owner of the establishment From knowing the scope of the establishment, its activity, and requesting a Saudization certificate electronically, in addition to the professions management service that enables the establishment to apply to change the profession of the resident employee who works for it to match the work he does. It has according to the Unified Saudi Classification of Occupations Guide, the work permit service that deals with the issuance or renewal of work permits for expatriate workers in the establishment through the strong platform, which is tantamount to the approval of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development for them to work in the Saudi market.
Regarding the types of establishments in Qawia, Al-Ruwaishid explained that they come in two types: the first: incorporation facilities, which are the first facility at the level of the entity under the unified number, and the duration of the establishment period is 6 months in the life of the facility.
Expansion facilities are for facilities that achieve high rates of Saudization and are committed to work systems. The available balance varies according to the activity and size of the facility and its commitment to the percentage of Saudization.
The workshop also dealt with documenting and managing work contracts, given that Qawia is the approved platform for documentation. How to create and document the contract was discussed, and several other services such as submitting a notification of work interruption, work organization regulations, and the electronic advisor that enables establishments to monitor their compliance with work systems in an easy and simplified way.
