Asharqia Chamber prepares for the
launching of the fifth edition of the Women Economic Forum 2016, that will be
held on 23 and 24 November, under the title (Saudi Woman the strength of effecting
to lead the change), which is held under the patronage of the wife of the
Prince of the Eastern Province, Her Highness Princess Abeer bint Faisal bin
Turki, in the Grand Hall in Sheraton Hotel in Dammam.
According to the chairman in Asharqia Chamber Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al Ataishan,
the Forum with
its fifth edition is an extension of the positive theses the chamber is always
keen to ask about the importance of women economic role and its ability to
drive development forward especially in light of what is currently seen in the
country from a comprehensive national vision, the burden of achieving them for
women and men together.
Ataishan, said the forum aims to strengthen the economic role of women, through
a review of her needs as a businesswoman, and put forward ways to meet the
challenges she faces, as well as contributing to the active
participation in the economic life of being a partner in the development,
pointing that this year forum will witness the participation of top speakers
specialists in economic affairs, in order to shed light on many of the issues
that contribute to the enhancement of women in the economic field , and to
highlight the importance of their role in this context.
He added that the forum comes as an extension of the journey and a step to
complete previous successes in order to activate the role of women
economically, socially and developmentally, pointing that previous versions of
the Forum organized by the Chamber during the past years, experienced a
significant interaction on the part of the women who participated actively to
discuss several topics, saying, : the Forum gets within a range of activities
and events organized by the Chamber for interested and work businesswomen and to
improve their performance and improve their jobs.
Worth mentioning is that Asharqia Chamber, which has organized four editions of
the Women Economic Forum, most recently in 2014, which was under the title,
(building the future .. with women vision), and witnessed a crowd and resulted
in a set of recommendations that aimed in improving the economic role of women,
with delivering their vision regarding the whole economic situation and their
ability to participate in the improvement and development process.
