On the sidelines of the celebration of Asharqia Chamber's fifty years since the publication of the AlEqtisad magazine, which will be held on Tuesday 26 March 2019, the Chamber intends to implement a program to honor a number of personalities who served the business sector in general and Asharqia Chamber in particular by presiding over the previous Boards of Directors of the Chamber over the past 67 years.
The chairman of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad al-Ammar al-Khalidi, said that one of the "values" that are adopted by Asharqia Chamber is "appreciation."
Therefore, the Chamber, through the celebration of AlEqtisad magazine, intends to honor the heads of the former Board of Directors in Asharqia Chamber (members of the Councils and their employees), who are credited with the achievements of Asharqia Chamber throughout its long history.
He explained that the Chamber is had different chiarmem of its Board of Directors (Hamad Bin Ahmed Al Gosaibi, Ibrahim bin Saleh Al-Attas, Saad bin Mohammed Al-Mujal, Hamad bin Abdullah Al Zamil, Khalid bin Abdullah Al Zamil, Abdulrahman bin Rashid Al Rashed, Abdulrahman bin Saleh Al-Otishan).
Al-Khalidi said that this constellation of entrepreneurs, whether they moved to the mercy of God or those who are still playing their roles in the service of the homeland, had an influential and pivotal role not only in supporting the Eastern Region's community and the business sector in the region, but, in terms of supporting the investment movement and the Saudi economy.
The ceremony, which will be held at the headquarter of Asharqia Chamber, will be honoring the editors of the former directors of AlEqtisad magazine, who showed efforts to present this distinctive print, which has the leadership and the precedent in the direction of the specialized economic media.
