Al Ataishan: The productive families sector fights unemployment and reduces demand for governmental jobs.
Al Wabel: The criteria for selecting participating families range from
the quality of the product offered not having a commercial license.

Chamber completed the second stage of its preparations for the
third edition of its annual exhibition of the productive families "Sanaati 2017", which used to be held by the Chamber since 2015 under the patronage of
His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Dhahran International «Expo», to improve the productive
families and make them an active figure within the economies of the
Kingdom in general and the eastern region in particular.
For
his part, Asharqia Chamber Chairman, Abdulrahman bin Saleh
Al Atishan, said that Asharqia Chamber's keenness to organize the
productive families exhibition for the third consecutive year
within the framework of the Chamber's continuous support for projects,
programs and events that are in line with national efforts to promote the sector, being a strong supporter of the national economy,
pointing that the productive families sector plays a major role in fighting unemployment, and restricts the demand for governmental jobs,
in addition to being an investment channel that adds value to the
national economy.
Al Atishan,
the Chamber's plan to promote the productive families sector, said that
it is based on three main topics. The first attempts to change negative
culture towards micro projects or productive families projects by
intensifying lectures and awareness campaigns through various channels
of communication, to
present training programs for all productive families, workshops and
presentation of successful international experiences, with regard to the
third and final axis of the organization of specialized exhibitions for
productive families, so that families will operate within an
appropriate regulatory framework that enables them to present their
products to the visitors.
The Chamber was represented in the Center for Community
Responsibility, which has been in contact with the associations, centers
and committees of the productive families, with 19 incubators who have
expressed their desire to participate in the exhibition "Made in 2017,"
as part of the first phase of the plan to implement the exhibition in
its third edition.
For
his part, Secretary General of the Chamber, Abdulrahman Al Wabel, said
that the Chamber will begin the completion of the exhibition "Sanaati 2017" for the productive families according to a plan divided into more
than one stage, each stage has a specific goal to be accomplished. The
second phase was followed by sorting and identifying each of the
participating families and associations. He pointed to the multiplicity
of selection criteria among the families to participate in the
exhibition between the quality of the offered product and that they do
not have an outlet for sale or a commercial license.
Al Wabel
explained that the exhibition of the year was divided into four main
sections, the first of which is a section for the families that produce
their classifications, a second section for the male craftsmen, and the
third is a special department for the little trader under the age of 15,
after the success of the previous version, (Child Corner).
Al Wabel
said that the social responsibility programs were invited to
participate in the exhibition, such as the Eastern Region Council for community responsibility, the Social Development Bank, the National
Program for Handicrafts and Handicrafts, as well as inviting the
business sector with initiatives and community programs that serve this
segment. That
the third phase of the preparations for the exhibition begins to
receive requests from families from outside the charitable societies to provide the opportunity for all, and then a number of training
programs for the families that will participate in the exhibition to
help them improve and make them skills and abilities accordance to the standard principles for sale
and marketing to achieve active participation in the exhibition.
