Asharqia Chamber and Prince Mohammad Bin Fahd University sign a joint cooperation agreement
On Monday, September 16, 2024, a delegation from the Asharqia Chamber headed by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Ashariqa Chamber Badr bin Suleiman Al-Rizaiza visited Prince Muhammad bin Fahd University and met with the Vice President of the University for Academic Affairs, Dr. Faisal bin Yousef Al-Anzi, in the presence of the Vice President of the University for Business Development, Dr. Muhammad bin Othman Al-Hazim, the Vice President of the University for Student Affairs, Dr. Omar Jawdat Al-Mousa, and a number of university leaders and officials.
On the sidelines of the visit, a joint cooperation agreement was signed in the presence of the Second Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Hamad bin Muhammad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, Board Member Badr bin Muhammad Al-Abdulkarim, Secretary-General Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabil, and Assistant Secretary-Generals. The agreement aims to cooperate in scientific and technical fields and exchange expertise in a way that contributes to developing the mechanism for implementing the programs and activities of the Chamber and the University, and exchanging information and studies between the two parties. Al-Raziza stressed that the agreement comes within the Chamber's efforts to support the business sector in the Eastern Province, as the Chamber works to organize workshops and training programs in which it hosts academics and specialists with the aim of reviewing the ways and steps to develop the work mechanism in the sector and the aspects of support that enable it to perform its developmental roles. Dr. Al-Anzi said that the agreement comes within the framework of the university's efforts and a continuation of its various community initiatives, including cooperation with active institutions in society, explaining that this agreement reflects the keenness of both parties to implement initiatives, studies and forms of joint cooperation that work to empower and enhance the role of the sector in serving the national economy and working to develop it in line with the future visions of the sector, in addition to raising the level of awareness to contribute to overcoming the challenges that may face the sector.
