Asharqia Chamber intends to organize an open forum for realtors on behalf of the Realtors Committee set to take place next November. The forum is intended to open discussions about a number of topics related to encouraging real estate development. Representatives from the appropriate government ministries will be hosted at the forum.
During the meeting, chaired by Aayid ibn Farhan Al-Qahtani, a member of the Board of Directors for the Realtors Committee, it was affirmed that it is very important to formulate additional regulations for the real estate market related to morgages and real estate development. He labeled it a project for the committee that will have important ramifications for real estate development in general, and the issue of housing in particular.
This is in accordance with the committee's keeness to study and research a set of standardized regulations for the sector since they intend to study a draft regulations for real estate brokers as well.
