Asharqia Chamber's Contracting Committee discusses contractor's dropout
Asharqia Chamber's Contracting Committee highlighted the obstacles facing investors in this sector. Most notably the competition faced by Saudi contractors in by the foreign investor (foreign contractor).
During the meeting which was headed by Asharqia Board Member & Committee Head, Saleh bin Abdullah Al Sayed on Sunday, June 20th, 2010 has ensured that this competition has exceeded in its activity up to the level of career drop-out by the Saudi contractor to return as a foreign contractor and investor in which obtaining advantages not given to the Saudi.
AlSayed has also discussed the matter of issuing the CR without controls or restrictions on the construction activity, in addition to the phenomenon of labor escape, and delay of issuance the visas and other topic.
Furthermore; the Committee recommended the members to note their comments and remarks on the strategic objectives to be discussed with the consultant office in charge throughout the next week meeting to accomplish the strategic plan to of forming a working groups stemming from the committee.
