Ashariqa chamber meets entrepreneurs in Jubail
Alsharani: having the proper training and knowledge is the entrepreneur’s weapon against the global market fluctuations
Zamil ibn Sultan alsharani, the CEO of Saudi Daz company limited asserted on the importance of perseverance when it comes to getting profits for any project an entrepreneur owns. He spoke in the (entrepreneurs’ day) program, which was organized by Asharqia chamber of commerce’s small and medium businesses development center. The program was held in Jubail University College as part of her activities that target entrepreneurs. Alsharani mentioned that being creative and persistent is essential for success. He also spoke about the most important funding channels that can provide young entrepreneurs with funding and consultancy. He said that many young people are excited to enter the market and have creative and innovative ideas that are needed in the market, but there are many requirements, education and training are on top of them.
He pointed out that the regional and global markets are constantly growing and shifting, thus, study these markets to learn about them is essential. Amongst the important topics is knowing how to conduct feasibility studies, time and financial management, and he asserted that the private sector is always in need of qualified national staff.
The program reviewed the means and methods to turn a small or a medium business to a large one, through programs and activities that mirror those used in the global market. Such activities and being paired with international businesses would definitely help the business grow and flourish. The program also included a detailed account of all the services that Asharqia chamber of commerce’s small and medium businesses development center offers.
It is worth noting that Asharqia chamber initiated “entrepreneurs” program, to spread the business culture between university and college students across the eastern region, and to help them turn from job seekers to business owners.
