The head of theMinistry of Foreign Affairsbranch ofthe Eastern RegionSuleimanbin AhmedAqeelsaid that the effortsare currentlyfocusedto turntothe sectiondealing withelectronicdealtofacilitate the work ofthe beneficiaries, bothfrom the business sectororthe citizens and residents.
Alaqeelsaidtothe meetingguest at the TuesdayEastChamber monthly, which was heldthe evening ofTuesday, February 3, 2015 atthe presence of the Secretary Generalof the ChamberAbdulrahman binAbdullahAlwabilsawthe presence ofthe President ofthe Board of DirectorsAbdulrahman binSalehAlotaishanand member ofthe Board of DirectorsMohammedFarajimpressivelyand a number ofbusinessand legal experts andinterested inmenthat thebranchis keen toprovide facilities-businessbelievingtheir contribution tothe development processin the Kingdom, noting thatthe sectionaddressesa number ofdiplomatic missionsand consulatesandSaudi embassiesabroadto support anytopics related tothe businesssectorandare supposed to meetthe conditions and requirements.
Alaqeelsaidthat thekingdomis one of thelargestpublicstatesingrantingvisaswheregranted duringthe year 2012, about12 millionvisawhich 55percentofUmrahThiseffortprovided bythe Saudidiplomatic missionsabroadand the Foreign Ministry, addingthat working withthe branchhas become moreaffordable thanbefore, assummed upmany stepsThedealhas becomeeasythrougha briefand clearsteps.
Alaqeelsaid the ministryimplementedsystem footprintin18Saudi embassyabroadasthe projectcompletedwith the remainingembassieswhich have close tieswith theUKand hasrepresentationsin whichhe said, addingthat the branchisdocumentedabout 1,000documentsper dayvarybetweencontractsand birth certificatesor agencies, declaringthat thebranchin the processthe opening ofthreeprivateofficesto ratifytwo of theminsidethe branches ofthe easterndistrict ofAl FaisaliahroominspiredFanarand thirdin Al-Ahsaroom wherethe branchstafftoundergospecial training coursesin this areato receivetheir worksoon,pointing to thetwo new branchesin Abha, Qassim.
He saidAlaqeelthat theMinistry of Foreign Affairsin the Eastern ProvinceBranchcarried outduring the first quarterof this year,the number of407extension processforexit visasand return,in 2271businessvisits,and473requests forvisits bygovernment,and 3requestsfor personalvisits,andabout30 685requestfor familyvisits,and 3requestsfor treatment,andin 2722a request forworking visits,notingthat theapplicationsthat are related tothe ladies, especiallythose comingfrom Europeor othercountries, thebranchenddemandtransactionsafterthe ownerofferedinless than 24 hours.
Aqeelstressedthe need tounderstand anddifferentiatewhen applying fora working visit, wheretheMinistry of Foreign AffairsBranchsupportsrequestsVisitadvisorsand board membersfrom overseaskind offacilityrather thancompetencereceptionVisittechnical laborinterestswho fallunderthe Ministry of Labor.
And about theelectronicprojectAlaqeelsaidthat theE-Ministryaccessible to allandwill providegreatfacilitiesfor clientswith the ministry.
