On Thursday, April 19, 2018, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber, Abdulhakeem Al-Khalidi, received the first secretary of the Indonesian Embassy, Mohammed Iqbal Molana, in the presence of the economic advisor of the embassy, Cosnaridi Takarianto, and the Secretary General of the Chamber, Abdulrahman Alwabil.
During the meeting, which took place at the headquarter of the Chamber in Dammam, a number of topics of common interest were discussed. The two sides stressed the importance of deepening the economic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Indonesia and reviewed some aspects that constitute paths of joint economic cooperation in the future.
Al Khalidi gave a presentation on the new vision of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 2030, which supports options for opening promising horizons for foreign investment and increasing the size of joint ventures, especially with countries with a great history of relations with the Kingdom such as the Republic of Indonesia.
Form his part; Molana stressed the importance of the relationship with Saudi Arabia due to its importance at the level of the global economy.
