The Chairman of Asharqia Chamber of Commerce, Al-Khalidi, welcomed the Director of the British Trade Office in the region, Gary Hunt, on Wednesday, April 4, 2018. During this meeting, the two sides discussed the aspects of economic cooperation.
The two sides reviewed ways to enhance cooperation between private sector institutions in both countries. AlKhalidi stressed the positive investment environment in the Saudi market, which is considered a catalyst for further British investments in the Saudi market.
The two sides also agreed on the positive results of the recent visit to Britain by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz (Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense), as the economic aspect was present during the dialogues of His Highness with officials in Britain.
Gary Hunt expressed his hope for more communication and cooperation, especially since the political and economic relations between the two countries are of a historical depth, and all indicators confirm their growth and development in the near future.
