The governor of the General Organization for Technical and Vocational training corporation AlGhafis said that the institution intention to run 100 technical college in the Kingdom through a strategic partnership with local and international training institutes partnerships, to implement programs that meet the needs of the private sector, explaining that Enterprise Manager will not interfere in the development of these programs, but the regulatory and supervisory side and support , stressing at the time himself that this is the outputs of these programs direct employment.
AlGhafis revealed during the meeting with training centers, organized by the East Chamber Tuesday (31 / March / 2015) and the Department Chairman of the Chamber training, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rabiah in the presence of Board of Directors Hakim Alammar and Najib AlSeihati on a study conducted by the Ministry of Municipal Affairs to develop a list of the sector (concerns) Women implemented by the Ministry of Labor to organize this sector.
He added that 18 Technology College for Girls in the Kingdom have been established and ten of them were been run as well as the rest will run programs serving the labor market, specifically in the women sector.
He stated that the organization plans to attract 40% of high school graduates across the kingdom instead of 14% at the moment.
AlGhofais pointed to the orientation of the institution to hold strategic partnerships with several local and foreign destinations, referring to the partnership that has recently with Aramco for the rehabilitation of five thousand young people for the construction of Jazan refinery and then run it, as well as a partnership with one of the Canadian companies to create a School of Hospitality in each of Taif and Medina. . Stressing that excellence is the motto and the organization excellence comes from the outstanding teaching staff.
He said that the institution has developed a strategic plan for the next 25 years approved by the Cabinet and five years passed from them, is the first stage, to enter into the second phase, and the most prominent features is the high flexibility in the choice of trainers in technical programs that are compatible with the labor market outputs .. He said that the institution is facing the challenge of receiving an average of two College from contractors, ready to run by the implementing agencies, and look forward to the quality control in these colleges and institutes and the implementation, so we have entered into partnerships with foreign training and management institutes at local points of expertise that has a long history, the colleges of excellence has been established, and we have a new model for companies where going to work for one provider .. He noted that during 2013 and 2014 eight global conglomerates were selected to run about 27 technical college.
AlGhofais the organization support for training centers, and for the private sector as a strategic partner of the institution, the list of National Training has been renewed, he expressed his hope that the institution role will be only supportive, and the rest of the things to be handled by the private sector, which now has the right to attract any local operator or global and we bear the costs.
