Al-Wabel urges Chinese traders to invest in Kingdom

Secretary-General of Asharqia Chamber Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al-Wabel urged Chinese businessmen to take advantage of the business opportunities in the Kingdom, pointing to a number of investment incentives and tax facilities in all cities as well as the large projects centered in the industrial cities ..This was during his recent meeting with Stephen Wong, Regional Director for Hong Kong Trade Development Council in the Middle East at the Chamber headquarter in Dammam.
Al-Wabel explained that Hong Kong is considered as a main gate in trade as it provides a significant platform for doing business with China.
For his part, Wong spoke about investment opportunities in China, adding that Hong Kong is the main gate of China's trade. ..Saying that China has been considered as the largest car market in the world, as there are more than 300 million people using the Internet in China which encouraged investment in technical services , technology and the Internet. "It is also the second largest market for luxury products.
Speaking of challenges, Wong said that there are several challenges facing the Chinese market, including finding local partners in addition to business risks when entering Chinese market that can be reduced through the establishment of commercial entities in Hong Kong. According to the principle of "one country, two systems"
Nevertheless; Wong thanked the chamber for launching entitled: (Hong Kong .. Trade Gate to China) and valued about the strong relationship between the two countries, referring to the commercial and economic relations which recorded notable increase and growth.
At the end of the meeting ; Secretary General of the Chamber Abdulrahman bin Abdullah Al Wabel honored Stephen Wong, Regional Director of Hong Kong Trade Council in the Middle East with a memorial plaque.
