Al-Shagawi sponsors a Seminar on Importance of
Training for Economic Development
Held next Sunday at Asharqia Chamber
Experts and specialists in training and human resources development in the Kingdom will discuss economic aspects of training in a seminar organized by Asharqia Chamber on Sunday (11/11/2012 corresponding to 26/12/1433), under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Abdurrahman Al-Shagawi, Director General of the
Institute of Public Administration (IPA).
Abdulrahman bin Rashid Al Rashid, Chairman ofAsharqia Chamber, said the seminar will discuss six working papers in three sessions. The 1st session will be discussing "training and its role in sustainable development", whereas the 2nd session will be discussing "training and Saudi job market needs" .
Officials fromChamber's Training Committee, Eastern Province Branch of Institute of Public Administration, Department of Training and Scholarship of Directorate of Education – Eastern province, Dar Alyaum Publishing House, TAFE Arabia Technical And Further Education, Human Resources Development Fund, Madar Al Khaleej Institute, and Al Khaleej Training And Education will be speaking.
Al-Rashid said that the organization of this seminar by Asharqia Chamber comes from its belief in the importance and necessity of training for human development, which is the basis of comprehensive development, and based on the "people first" principle.
