    The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Badr bin Suleiman Al-Raziza, confirmed that Saudi women have become today a key bet in achieving major development goals and an active partner in making the change that the country is witnessing at all levels and that it presents, day after day, a model for positive engagement in the national economy. This is due to Vision 2030, which classified women among the elements of the Kingdom's strength and worked to develop their talents, invest their energies, and enable them to obtain appropriate opportunities for them in all fields.

    This came as part of the Asharqia Chamber’s continuation of its readiness to launch its seventh edition of the Women’s Economic Forum, under the title (Making Change), which will start next Wednesday, via the (zoom) platform, under the patronage of the Prince of the Eastern Region, His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz. An elite group of specialized speakers, officials, academics, and those interested in economic affairs in general, and the women's business sector in particular, will participate in it.

    Al-Raziza said that the Asharqia Chamber’s organization of the Women’s Economic Forum came to enhance the role of women in the national economy, noting that the Chamber sees the urgent need to intensify such forums related to the economic role of women, as it reviews their steps and needs towards effective participation in the development process, and it represents A major communication platform that raises awareness and identifies global experiences in women's economic empowerment.

    He pointed to the Chamber's continuous preparations to receive and confirm the participation of female specialists, specialists, and those interested in women's economic affairs, pointing to the high number of participants in this year's forum, and that it is a serious opportunity to benefit from several topics it addresses, such as the challenges facing the development of the economic role of women in the Kingdom in general and the region. Eastern Province in particular, and to discuss the opportunities and possibilities available for female investors and businesswomen to contribute to the development process in the region, as well as introduce the mechanisms, forms, and various fields of this development.
