Abdur-Rahman Al-Rashid, the Chairman of Asharqia Chamber, received a letter of thanks and appreciation from the President of the Council of Arab Businesswomen, Dr. Hissa bint Saad Al-Abdullah Al-Salem Al-Sabah. In the letter she expressed her happiness about the success of the 2nd Women's Economic Forum which was organized by Asharqia Chamber on May 12-13, 2009 under the auspices of Princess Jawaahir bint Naif ibn Abdul-Aziz, the wife of Prince Muhammad bin Fahd bin Abdul-Aziz, Governor of the eastern region.
Dr. Hissa Al-Sabah congratulated Al-Rashid on the performance of the Organizing Committee for making the Forum a huge success, and remarked that everone was pleased with the warm hospitality extended to all who attended. She praised the efforts of the Chairman of Asharqia Chamber, the Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee, the Director of the Women's Business Center, and the Reception Team of the Public Relations department.
Dr. Hissa Al-Sabah said the interest in the affairs of Saudi and Gulf Arab women is a remarkable achievement and impacted the hearts of all women. She stressed that this was an important step in the evolution of the thinking of women and their role in the service of their country.
