Al Rashid: Congratulated all Chamber members for achieving highest quality standards
We seek to lead the business sector to achieve the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to attain Kingdom into a global quality standard in 2020
In response to Asharqia Chamber significant achievement for being certified recently to ISO 10002:2004 and BS 25999 ,Abdulrahman Al Rashed ,Chairman of Asharqia Chamber congratulated all chamber members on this achievement gaining a number of quality certificates at the same time; becoming the first Saudi chamber in the Middle East achieving the ISO certificates for customer service, Business Continuity, with renewing the quality management and information security validity.
On this occasion;Al Rashid said that the Chamber's interest to achieve this excellence is the outcome of a quality culture in which the chamber is seeking to broadcast in the business community, to lead the business sector to achieve the vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to attain Kingdom into a global quality standard in 2020.
As the chamber achieved the ISO Certificate (ISO 10002:2004) for the dealing with customer complaints, and work on their aspirations, and evaluate their satisfaction with services offered by the Chamber ,also ISO Certificate of Business Continuity (BC 2007-2-25999-) , which specializes in business continuity in the event of natural disasters or wars where the Chamber by obtaining this certification are eligible for the conduct an action in any location outside the building when this occurs.
This has been done under the supervision of (TUVNORD) Middle East Group, and the National Company for inspection and testing LTD.
Al Rashid also valued the importance of the achievement in in renewing the validity of ISO certificates of quality management system (ISO 9001:2008) and Information Security Management System (ISO 27001:2005) being achieved in 2009. Making Asharqia Chamber as the first Chamber in the Middle East and one of the few chambers in the world to receive these four certificates.
Finally; he thanked the Executives on behalf of the Chamber Board the for their efforts to overcome these benefits through keeping up with the international quality systems to manage the interests of the business sector.
