The Mayor of Jubail Governorate, Eng. Faris bin Muhammad Al-Areej, reviewed several investment opportunities in the governorate, during a meeting with the business sector in the Eastern Province, organized by the Chamber today, Wednesday, March 30, 2022, via the zoom platform.
Al-Areej said that Jubail, which is located on the coast of the Arabian Gulf, is characterized by its distinguished geographical location in the east of the Kingdom and is considered one of the main investment areas, noting that the municipality is looking forward to enabling investment in the municipal sector and serving the private sector and entrepreneurs to be a successful and pioneering model in the region in line with the objectives of the vision Kingdom 2030 AD.
Al-Areej explained that the municipality of Jubail Governorate aims to provide investment services in an easy and accessible manner and a manner commensurate with the aspirations of investors of all categories, in cooperation and coordination with all relevant authorities, through the municipal investment portal "Foras", which includes the service of applying for investment projects offered through announced auctions, as well as the feature Temporary leasing for a period of up to 3 months, pointing out that the portal aims to expand the base of competitors for investment opportunities and raise the level of transparency by automating procedures.
Al-Areej talked about several investment opportunities planned to be launched this year in the King Fahd Suburb in Jubail and several neighborhoods in the governorate, the North Corniche, the eastern beach, and the Khalidiya scheme, including the operation and maintenance of 3 public parks, a project to establish a commercial complex, several services in the cafes sector, and also a lounge Multi-purpose weddings, and the Jubail Marina project, which is expected to be constructed east of Jubail, to be a vital and recreational area for the city's residents.
Al-Areej spoke during the workshop about the project to establish an exhibition center, which aims to improve the urban landscape and reduce the burden of expenses represented in maintenance and operation.
Al-Areej indicated that the Jubail Municipality aims, among its plans for the current year, to offer a bid to establish ten commercial centers distributed and approved in the King Fahd Suburb scheme, in the neighborhoods of Aziziyah, Seville, Qordoba, and Granada. The projects aim to provide services to citizens and residents to improve the quality of life following the vision of the Kingdom.
