Asharqia Chamber annual Blood Donation Campaign was organized at the Chamber's headquarter on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.
It was held in cooperation with the Regional Laboratory and the Blood Bank in the Ministry of Health in the Eastern Region.
The Campaign had a remarkable participation of the Board of Directors of the Chamber, the business sector and visitors of the campaign.
The Chairman of the Board, Abdul Hakim bin Hamad Al-Ammar Al-Khalidi, said that the campaign comes from the Social responsibility of the Chamber and its belief in the importance of supporting activities for community service of all kinds, especially blood donation campaigns.
AlKhalidi explained that the campaign was attended by a large number of members of the Board of Directors and the business sector and different segments of the men and women in the society.
He added that the campaign aims to deliver a message to everyone and encourage them to initiate charitable works, which benefit all members.
This campaign comes in the framework of strengthening the role of the Chamber and its staff towards the service of the local community and in line with the social responsibility of the Chamber towards the sick, the needy and hospitals as well as in partnership with the official bodies.
At the end of the campaign, the head of Asharqia Chamber, Abdul Hakim Al-Khalidi, honored the Director of Dammam Blood Bank, Abdullah bin Matar AlOtaibi, and the accompanying medical team with a memorial shield, due to their efforts during the campaign.
