A French delegation presents a high-level cooperation in mining technology in the Kingdom
The commercial counselor at the French Embassy in Riyadh Michael Glenn said that France is keen to provide cooperation to the Kingdom in the field of technology and services that cover the full range of mining sector during a meeting with a high-level French delegation hosted by the East Chamber on Wednesday 2 April 2014 at its headquarters in Dammam. Glenn said that the delegation, which like several leading companies met with Saudi businessmen that French companies have a comprehensive set of applications that improve the production processes that contribute to reducing costs and improving sustainability in the mining, minerals and metals, and is universally used in energy management. The East Chamber presentation focused on investment opportunities in the Kingdom, particularly in the eastern region as a strategic location as a transit point to other Gulf markets. The display feature highlighted investment in Saudi Arabia which is the largest recipient of FDI in the Arab world, where the eastern region attracted the largest proportion of investments where she received 14 473 billion dollars which represents nearly one-third of the total investment in the Kingdom during the past two years.
