The Board of Directors of Asharqia Chamber has extended its heartiest congratulations to the new Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz. The Chamber described the selection of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the position of the Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister, in addition to his responsibility as the Minister of Defense a prudent decision. This selection will take the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to a new height at the local, regional and global levels, the Chamber said in a statement.
Mr. Abdulrahman Rashed Al Rashed, Chairman of Asharqia Chamber, noted that this right decision was not surprising for someone like the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, who has very clear administrative experience and extensive knowledge in many different areas.
The Chamber Chairman said His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, has been very unique and experienced in performing his official day-to-day duties since he became the governor of Riyadh several decades ago. He transformed Riyadh into a modern city, said Mr. Al Rashed adding that Riyadh has been ranked among the top international cities and it hosts many global events in recent years.
The choice of His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz as the Crown Prince was the best decision as the Prince is very much linked to the citizens of Saudi Arabia, said Mr. Abdullah H. Al Ammar, Vice Chairman of Asharqia Chamber adding that the Crown Prince has special relationship with the people. He mentioned that the Crown Prince has been engaged in a lot of social activities and various humanitarian services.
Mr. Fahd A. Al Shureia, another Vice Chairman of Asharqia Chamber, highlighted great interest of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz in various activities of Saudi youth including sports and culture. "The Crown Prince Salman is a model as the commander of the nation encouraging the aspirations of the people," he said.
