Al Wabel said that Asharqia chamber launched this award years ago with the aim to activate the role played by small and medium enterprise to support and motivate the national economy in general and the economy of the eastern region in particular, and increasing the awareness among small and medium  business owners and motivating them to show better levels and promote the concept of initiative among investors and encourage small and medium enterprises to creativity and renewal and innovation and framing the concept of quality of small and medium enterprises and encouraging them to reach the highest levels in this matter and the promotion of small and medium enterprises to play a bigger role in the consolidation of the concept of saudization in the region"".
