Asharqia Chamber concludes "Jobs 2024" with the participation of 170 companies
Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Employment Center, concluded on Wednesday evening, October 16, which was organized under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, Prince of the Eastern Province, and witnessed a large turnout of job seekers, both male and female, at the Dhahran International Exhibition Center "Dhahran Expo" in Al-Raka. The exhibition, which was launched on Monday, October 14, 2024, witnessed the participation of 170 companies and 7,700 jobs in various specializations, and received its visitors from 1 pm to 8 pm. It also allowed job seekers, both male and female, to register through the exhibition's official website, as it requires filling out a brief registration form electronically, which eliminates the need to bring any documents or a written CV.
The 2024 Careers Fair aims to provide an integrated platform that brings together job seekers and employers from various sectors, contributing to enhancing employment opportunities in the local market. It is distinguished by the diversity of participating companies, as it includes a group of major companies in the fields of technology, industry, services, and the health sector. It also effectively contributes to the localization plan supported by the wise leadership to reduce unemployment rates in order to achieve the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, by providing qualified national cadres to companies and institutions wishing to support their work team with national skills and expertise. Registration was required to enter the exhibition, and job seekers were able to communicate directly with employers and representatives of institutions. They can ask questions and inquiries about job requirements, conditions, and advantages, and learn more about specific companies and available opportunities. Participants in the exhibition can also submit their CVs electronically and directly to human resources officials. This increases the chances of obtaining interviews and job opportunities, and represents an opportunity for job seekers to get to know a specific industry or specialty better, enabling them to explore participating companies and institutions and learn more about the needs of the labor market.
