Asharqia Chamber and Social Development Bank conclude the "Saudi Empretec" program
Asharqia Chamber, represented by the Women's Empowerment Center, in cooperation with the Social Development Bank, concluded on Thursday, October 17, 2024, the "Empretec Saudi Arabia" program, one of the programs of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, which is directed at entrepreneurs, and aims to develop entrepreneurial skills that contribute to the development of the project and achieving competitiveness and local development of projects, in the presence of the member of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Nouf bint Abdulaziz Al-Turki, and the General Manager of the Social Development Bank branch in Dammam, Hussein bin Abdullah Al-Sana. The program, which was held for the third time within the Chamber's "Entrepreneurs" initiative over 6 days, was presented by a number of professional trainers, with the participation of 30 male and female entrepreneurs.
The program was also designed to develop and enhance personal entrepreneurial capabilities and competencies and build micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in a sustainable and competitive manner in order to achieve wealth and local development, create job opportunities and improve society. Member of the Board of Directors of the Asharqia Chamber, Nouf bint Abdulaziz Al-Turki, said that the program, which is held within the Chamber's initiative (Entrepreneurs), aims to enhance the motivation and confidence of participants who have chosen to start or expand businesses, by raising awareness of the mechanisms for developing entrepreneurial behavior, improving businesses, and the ability to compete locally and internationally. Al-Turki pointed out that the Eastern Chamber also hosted this program in order to enhance the entrepreneurial behaviors that business owners need and teach them the behaviors associated with business success, such as introducing tools for practicing and enhancing the personal competencies of a successful entrepreneur, enhancing tendencies and abilities in discovering available business opportunities, how to set difficult and challenging goals, dealing with complex situations, and many other topics related to the mechanisms of excellence and influence in forming a successful entrepreneur. The training program focuses on acquiring and enhancing the entrepreneurial behaviors that business owners need, which contributes to supporting entrepreneurs to advance their businesses and make them more efficient and able to compete locally and internationally, through participation in a training workshop that focuses on building successful entrepreneurial behaviors. The program was designed on well-studied scientific foundations to observe and strengthen the entrepreneurial capabilities of individuals in order to build dynamic projects capable of competing locally and internationally.
