Chamber hosts on the morning of Thursday, January 19, 2017 a discussion meeting on the «the role of the private sector in
achieving the goals of the future vision of the kingdom in 2030», organized by
the Riyadh Economic Forum.
The
aim of the meeting that starts at 8:30 am is to determine the role that the
private sector can play in the implementation and success of the vision, based
on the main features of the components of the Saudi private sector, and its
performance indicators.
Accordingly, the meeting seeks to spot and identify
the obstacles that limit the ability of this sector in the implementation of
the vision of the future goals, through the discussion that sheds the light on
the obstacles (legal, procedural, economic, technical, administrative, and
human).
The
meeting is trying - through dialogue and discussion - to determine the extent
of the ability of the private sector to achieve short and long term
requirements for the implementation of the vision goals, and choosing the
appropriate models for the participation of the private sector, and determining
the priority sectors.
