Asharqia Chamber is hosting a seminar on the Global Emerging Technology Investment.
Asharqia Chamber in cooperation with the Arab Society for Knowledge Economy and the Saudi Society for the development and transfer of technology and the Gulf Venture Capital is hosting a seminar entitled "Investing in the Global Emerging Technology" presented by Jim. Turina, Chief Executive of bold investment (Venture Capital) university in the United States of America, specialized in supporting investment in technology emerging and promising in a number of sectors and industries and on the evening of Saturday March 13, 2010, in the Chamber's headquarter in Dammam.
The Secretary-General of Asharqia Chamber, Adnan bin Abdullah Al-Nuaim mentioned that the guest will review the issues and challenges facing institutions of research and development between universities and business and investors when it comes to effective marketing of emerging technologies, and explains the methodology to speed up the administrative technology commercialization, which became the basis for the founding of the institution investment.
Turina speaks during the symposium on the university's Investment Corporation, which is a capital investment fund specializing in the marketing of emerging technology research centers at leading universities and companies that can be applied in many markets, the seminar will also discuss the fund, which is according to Turina is a platform designed to speed up operations marketing technology in the field of health care, science, and clean energy, information and communication technologies, and nano technology. The project is an effective model for building bridges between universities and research institutions, companies, factories and eliminates the gaps between those parties that may arise based on the lack of vision and work roles.
