In a workshop held in Asharqia Chamber.
The Cooperative Health Insurance Council
determined the 10th of April 2017 as a date for the implementation of the fourth stage of the
unified insurance policy in the private sector companies with a number of
workers (1 to 25 workers).
This
was mentioned by the Head of Partners relations
at Muhammed Bin Abdullah Al Shgroud in a
workshop held on Tuesday 28/3/2017 in the
headquarters of the Chamber in Dammam titled (the fourth stage of the unified insurance policy). He
stressed the obligation of each sector company to standardize its insurance
policy as there is one insurance company that starts at a specified time and
ends at a specified time.
He
added that one of the goals of the unified document is the elimination of
imaginary insurance, where multiple documents appear on multiple companies at
different times, causing sort of disturbing for insurance companies and beneficiaries.
He
said that the unified document program includes preventing the duplication of
companies in dealing with more than one insurance company, indicating that the
Council will reject any offer from companies to secure their workers to more
than an insurance company.
He estimated the number of insured workers with their families registered with the
Council by 12 million, so the market is large and requires more actions to give
everyone the right.
He
pointed that the system provides for insurance for every worker in the private
sector with members of his family included in the system.
