US stocks rose on Monday, buoyed by Apple, Microsoft and Merck & Co gains. As investors put aside concerns over the US-China trade war.
The Dow Jones industrial average was up 95.9 points, or 0.36 percent, at 26,916.15 points. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 14.89 points, or 0.50 percent, at 2,976.68 points. The Nasdaq Composite gained 59.71 points, or 0.75 percent, to 7,999.34 points
