(TASI) ended 0.53 percent higher at 6,616.9 points
The Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) ended 0.53 percent higher at 6,616.9 points. The sector activity for the day was mostly positive with 11 out 15 closing with gains ranging from 0.01 percent by the Agriculture & Food Industries sector to 6.84 percent by the Media and Publishing sector. On the other hand the losing sectors were ranged from 0.04 percent by the Telecommunication & Information Technology sector to 0.46 percent by the Building & Construction sector.
Lenders also advanced in Saudi Arabia, with Al-Rajhi Bank advancing 1.2 percent, to close at a near eight-month high.
The overall market breadth for the day was positive with 86 advancers against 30 decliners giving it an AD ratio of 2.86, the Financial transaction House (FTH) said in its daily market commentary.
The Saudi stock market turnover reached SR2.70 billion.
