Abdur-Rahman ibn Raashid Al-Raashid, the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Asharqia Chamber, welcomed on Monday David Harris, the new manager of the British Trade Office.During the meeting they shared ideas about a number of topics of mutual importance. Both sides brought up a range of ideas for economic and trade exchange between businessmen in the Eastern Region and their British counterparts. They stressed the necessity for developing these relations through new trade and production projects in light of the present growth in economic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the U.K. which has peaked recently thru the efforts of His Royal Highness King Abdullah ibn Abdul-Azeez and British Prime Minister, Jordan Brown. Al-Naeem, the General Manager of Asharqia Chamber, also stressed the increasing merits of foreign investment in the Kingdom.
