The parallel market rose for the third straight session to close at 3,136 points, 14 points up 0.47 percent. Trading values dropped by 36 percent to 700,000 riyals to reach 1.2 million riyals, at a rate of 11,000 riyals per transaction. While traded shares fell 39% by 41 thousand shares to reach 64 thousand shares traded, with a turnover rate of 0.26%. Transactions fell 31 percent to reach 116 transactions.
Three shares rose, which were led by "Alkathiri" by 4.2 percent to close at 25 riyals, followed by "AlSamaani" by 1.3% to close at 62.82 riyals, and then "Thob Alaseel" by 1 percent to close at 64.70 riyals. On the other hand, "Arab Sea" decreased 3.4 percent to reach SAR 11.37, followed by "Abo Moati" by 1.7 percent to reach SAR 11.44, and "Development Works Food Co." by 1.39% at SAR 64.
