This correspondence pertains to the Chamber's intention, in collaboration with the Sarawak government, the Strategic Institute for Asia and the Pacific (KSI), and Global One, to organize the second edition of the World Forum for Islamic Business Affairs 2023. The forum is scheduled to take place from November 28 to 30, 2023, at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) in Sarawak, Malaysia.
The forum serves as a leading platform to support and enhance the global Islamic economy. It is expected to attract a substantial number of policymakers, companies, and investors from all over the world, enabling them to explore numerous opportunities for commercial collaboration. The forum aims to become a knowledge hub for governments, chambers of commerce, and private sector institutions, allowing them to uncover innovative best practices across various domains. Consequently, the theme for the second edition of the forum has been decided as "Innovations and Transformations in Islamic Economies." This theme is particularly relevant given the rapid growth of the Islamic economy in the context of swift changes within the global economy.
