Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you of receiving the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (43104878) dated 17/11/1443 AH, in which it is indicated that the union received the letter of the Food and Drug General Authority No. (28055/p) and dated (16/11/1443 AH), Regarding the system of beauty products issued by Royal Decree No. (M/49) and dated (18/6/1436 AH), where samples of children’s make-up toys products traded in local markets were collected and analyzed to ensure their safety. The results of the analysis showed that the children’s make-up toys product name "charming toys make-up set total beauty compact" contains a high percentage of antimony circuit that exceeds the permissible limit as an impurity in the Safety Requirements Regulations for Cosmetics and Personal Care No. (sfda.co/gso1943), and since exposure to high levels of antimony, It may cause health risks to the consumer and assure all establishments that trade in cosmetic products to prevent the sale of the product whose details are shown and to return it to its suppliers, Importers, and distributors of the product must withdraw it from sales outlets and warehouses, and coordinate with the Authority - Operations Sector - to destroy it to avoid the issuance of penalties.
