Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards, and informs you that it has received the letter from the General Ports Authority - King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam No. (16/33/38/39) and dated (1/1/1446 AH), which refers to an increase in the quantities of shipments imported through King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam due to the circumstances. The current situation in the Red Sea, and in view of the cessation of some ship handling operations due to the occupancy of all the yards designated for storage as a result of the non-compliance of some importers with their shipments upon their arrival, and in the interest of the General Ports Authority to find solutions that would increase the port’s capacity and make optimal use of the customs inspection yards, and since the efforts The effort cannot be completed without the support of all customers benefiting from the port’s services.

 Therefore, the Authority urges all importers who have shipments at the port, especially car dealers, to quickly complete the procedures for clearing and receiving them to ensure business continuity, noting that new cars are considered to meet all required customs requirements and the procedures for clearing and receiving them can begin upon the arrival of the ship.
