Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards, and informs you that it has received the letter from the General Ports Authority No. (16/7/26211) dated (10/26/1445 AH), in which it is mentioned that King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam is witnessing a steady increase in the quantities of goods handled against the backdrop of the current situation in the Strait of Bab al-Mandab, which calls for more efforts to ensure the efficiency of supply chain operations and the smooth operation of the port.
Therefore, we would like to inform you that there are more than (5,700) containers that have completed customs procedures and are ready for receipt by the owners of the goods, according to the statement in the following attachment (http://go.ac.sa/b1k ).
Based on the port’s role and keenness to speed up and facilitate import and export operations and reduce the duration of container stays.
We hope that importers and stakeholders will quickly extract the containers received at the port whose customs procedures have been completed urgently.
