Asharqia Chamber presents you with the best greetings and would like to inform you of the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers (L / T / 1162) dated (15/05/1440), which referred to the letter of the Saudi Food and Drug Authority No. (29976 / p) dated (16/04/1440) on the transfer of control functions on warehouses and food distribution centers of the SFDA, and in accordance with the provisions of the Food Regulations promulgated by Royal Decree No. (M / 1) dated 6/1 / 1436H that included Article VIII of the system: "the food establishments registered with the Authority, including primary production facilities" as well as the regulation that stated in Article IV: "The establishment shall be licensed to trade food with the Authority."
Therefore, the Authority calls upon all institutions in the field of food import and storage to obtain a food warehouse license or stored in third parties from warehouses licensed by the Authority before (1/1/1441).
