Asharqia Chamber extends its warm regards to you and informs you of receiving a letter from the Saudi Chambers Union with the reference number (45102411) dated (27/5/1445H). The letter refers to the Union's reception of a letter from the General Authority for Food and Drug, with the reference number (14858/A) dated (26/5/1445H). This letter includes the immediate notification from the World Organization for Animal Health (WOAH) dated (14/5/1444H), corresponding to (28/11/2023), indicating the outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza in the Morbihan region of the Republic of France.
In response, the Authority issued decision number (14234/B) dated (19/5/1445H), imposing a temporary ban on the import of poultry meat, table eggs, and their products and preparations from the Morbihan region in the Republic of France.
