Greetings,
Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Council of the Saudi Chamber No. (42103119) dated (8/8/1442), Concerning the letter of the Public Transport Authority No. (1/42/6629) dated (7/25/1442 AH), which includes the regulations governing the activity of transporting goods, freight brokers and leasing trucks on land roads approved by the Minister of Transport Resolution No. (122/41/1) and the date of ( 7/5/1441), And the mechanism for implementing its provisions approved by His Excellency the President’s Decision No. (129/42/1) dated (06/01/1442), which granted grace periods for the implementation of some provisions of the regulations governing the activity for gradual implementation.
The Council informs you that some deadlines will expire on (4/30/2021), and they are as follows
* The period for renewing the expired licenses of the establishments licensed for the activity of transporting goods before the date (1/2/2020), and with the expiration of the period without renewal, the license is considered void.
* The period for renewing the expired operating cards of the establishments and individuals licensed in the activity of transporting goods issued before the date (2/1/2020), and with the expiration of the period without renewing the card, the card is considered void.
* A deadline for the heirs of the individual establishments licensed in the activity of transporting goods before the date (2/1/2020 AD) to correct the legal status of the establishment to continue practicing the activity, and with the expiration of the period without correcting the legal status of the establishment, the license is considered void.
* The period for renewing the expired licenses of the establishments licensed in the freight broker activity is before the date (2/1/2020 AD), and with the expiration of the period without renewal, the license is considered null.
* The deadline for fulfilling the requirement of a financial guarantee for the establishments licensed in the freight broker activity before the date (2/1/2020 AD), and with the expiration of the time limit without providing the financial guarantee, the licenses are suspended temporarily until the guarantee is submitted, and if it is not presented within a period of (90) days, the license becomes canceled.
* A deadline for the heirs of the individual establishment licensed in the freight broker activity (the activity of previously paid goods and tasks) before the date (2/1/2020 AD) to correct the institution's legal status to continue practicing the activity, and with the expiration of the period without correcting the establishment’s regular status, the license is considered null.
