Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you of receiving the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (42104045) dated (10/26/1442), referring to the letter of the Ministry of Commerce No. (50252) dated (10/21/1442), Corresponded to the letter of His Excellency the Governor of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization No. (5794) dated (9/30/1442), which includes the measurement and calibration system issued by Royal Decree No. (M/51) dated (30/11/1434), which is an initiative of the authority In the Transformation Program (2020) to improve services and field verification of measuring devices and ensure the achievement of fair trade in commercial exchanges.
Accordingly, the Council hopes the stakeholders (fuel stations - commercial, food and catering centers - gold shops) to submit requests for metrological investigation through the electronic platform Taqees (https://tagyees.sa) to avoid violations of the measurement and calibration system.
