Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received the letter of the Federation of Saudi Chambers No. (43100052) dated (4/1/1443), a reference to the letter of the Food and Drug General Authority No. (34921/p) and dated (12/29/1442),It is related to what was stated in Article 18 of the Pharmaceutical and Herbal Products and Facilities Law, which stipulates that (the registration period for each pharmaceutical or herbal preparation is five years, subject to renewal....etc), And to what was stated in Article Twenty-six of the veterinary products registration system in the Gulf Cooperation Council states, which stipulates that (the period of the certificate of registration of companies and factories of veterinary preparations and their preparations and licenses of local factories and warehouses of veterinary preparations is five years and may be renewed for similar periods in accordance with the conditions and controls specified by the regulation) And in view of what was observed by the authority that some companies did not submit a request to renew the registration of their registered products, and based on the authority’s role in enacting the necessary procedures to regulate the pharmaceutical, herbal and veterinary products market, the authority states that as of (1/1/1444 ), The release of products that have a valid registration certificate will be suspended, and their registration status on the authority’s website will be modified to non-marketed. Therefore, it calls on all companies and their agents to quickly renew the registration of their products according to the procedures followed in this regard.
