Greetings,
Asharqia Chamber extends its warmest greetings to you and informs you of receiving a letter from the Saudi Chambers Union, numbered (45102817), dated (27/6/1445 AH). It refers to the Union's receipt of a letter from the Ministry of Commerce, numbered (19978), dated (24/6/1445 AH), regarding Royal Decree No. (M/20) dated (5/2/1439 AH), approving the Anti-Money Laundering Law.
In accordance with Article (24/d) of the law, which states: "The regulatory authorities, in the performance of their duties, shall take the following actions: d- Issuing instructions, rules, guidelines, or any other tools for financial institutions, designated non-financial businesses and professions, and non-profit organizations, in implementation of the provisions of the law."
Additionally, in connection with the Ministry's letter numbered (9822), dated (3/5/1440 AH), concerning the guidance manual for combating money laundering and terrorist financing for precious metals and gemstone traders after updating. This guide can be obtained through the following link
