To/ importers of animals of the equine species
Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best greetings, and would like to inform you of the letter of the Council of Saudi Chambers (SG / 1768) dated 14/7/1440, which referred to the letter of the Ministry of Commerce and Investment No. (32113) dated (12/7/1440) on a temporary ban on the importation of animals of the equine species (horses, mules, donkeys) from the State of Peru.
This is based on the information contained in the warning bulletin received from the World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) by e-mail dated (29/6/1440) about the emergence of cases of gastrointestinal anemia in Peru, as well as the issuance of the decision of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture No. (523818/79731/1440) dated (5/7/1440) that to impose a temporary ban on the importation of animals from the equine species (horses, mules, donkeys) from the State of Peru.
